Brand new student or seasoned veteran? As a student, you quickly hoard heaps of junk, but just throwing stuff away is always a no-go. Need to get rid of something anyway? We have just the thing for you. On Wednesday, September 4 from 2 pm until 7.30 pm you can get rid of all your old junk at the pop-up container park at the Ossenmarkt: completely free of charge and without an appointment. The perfect way for a fresh start.
Thrift your heart out
To thrift is to thrive in Antwerp. And believe us, there are more than enough secondhand stores in Antwerp, but STAN wouldn’t be STAN without an extra effort for students. That’s why we’re simply bringing the Kringwinkel to GATE15. From Monday, September 9 to Friday, September 20, STAN will once again open a pop-up Kringwinkel in CABIN so you can decorate sustainably. Dive into a carefully chosen selection of clothing, small electrical items, home goods and books and give your dorm a new vibe without having to rob a bank.
Antwerp Shift
Good to know: Sunday, September 22 is not a day for dragging, but it is one for tearing through ‘t Stad in an environmentally friendly way, because Antwerp is going completely car-free. Put your moving skills on hold and use Antwerp Shift to discover the city without a car. Check out the options for shared mobility in the city so you can get around quickly and easily all year round.
