Student clubs: lifesavers during the study period
Antwerp’s student associations elevate the student life to the next level. From epic parties and cosy evenings to challenging quizzes and inspiring workshops, the student associations provide the ultimate vibes in the city. However, during the exam period, student life looks a bit different. No worries, even then the student associations are there for you to help. Find out with us how they will help you get through this feared period.
Help, how do I study for this subject?
Most of the student associations are linked to a particular field of study. This is a big plus for you, so take advantage of this! Find out which association is linked to your field of study. Many student clubs organise info sessions about the exam period. How does that professor lay out his exams? How do I best formulate my answers? Which chapters are really essential? Students from your direction (!), with a little more study experience, are ready to answer all of your questions. Bonus: You might even run into someone with that one golden summary you need for that tricky course. 👀
Did you miss the info session? Don’t panic! Just send a DM to the student club’s Instagram account. The clubs are not only run by students, but also for students. So they will be happy to answer all your questions.

The student associations won’t let you down during the exam period! Several associations organise exam info sessions just before the Christmas break. This is the ultimate opportunity to exchange tips & tricks with fellow students. This way, you will be able to make it a smashing study session together, and studying will be a lot more fun! Bonus: Heard there are always tasty snacks available.
Looking for the perfect place for your study marathon? Ready for the ultimate academic victory? From 6 to 10 January, Wikings-NS, together with The Brain Embassy, is organising a study spot that you can visit every day from 8am to 11pm. There is room for 100 students, so time to lock in and study our asses off! Be sure to check out their socials and the STUDY360 website for more info.
Spreading the holiday cheer
Studying is also about BREAKS. Breaks are at least as important as your study sessions. Student associations are still organising mega fun activities like x-mas parties and Christmas markets this week. Plan well and allow yourself some relaxation during your study sessions.
On Thursday 19 December, the UAntwerp student clubs will organise a cozy Christmas market. Come and enjoy the typical student vibes, snack and drink with your friends and temporarily say goodbye to those you have to miss for a while during the study period. Bonus: With your purchases at the Christmas market, you support charity!
Vitamin-ski
Perspective during the block is crucial. Do you feel like having a total blast, but no plans for after exams yet? The student clubs have an interesting proposal! During the lecture-free week, some clubs organise trips abroad! Fancy some Spanish tapas? For an interesting price you’ll leave for Seville. Rather go skiing? You can! Ski trips take you all the way to France or Austria. Great, right?
It’s clear: student clubs make student life not only more fun, but also more bearable. You will surely survive the block with their help! Celebrating freedom with other students after exams? Sounds good to us!
