StuDay for every nationality
Most of you have probably arrived in Antwerp by now, you’ve made your first new friends and followed your first classes. But maybe you’ve also started feeling a little homesick already or started missing your old friends and family. No worries! Because this Thursday it’s time for the 2019 edition of StuDay. The event that marks the start of the new academic year. You won’t only see how Belgians like to party, you’ll also definitely find something that makes you feel at home instantly.

What? A party that starts at 1:30PM and finishes already at 10PM? Sounds a little unbelievable for our Spanish students who have only just finished their dinner around that time. Especially for those who don’t go home before the sun appears again above the horizon we have not one but two after parties to offer. One in Trix and one in Club Vaag, both are free with your StuDay bracelet. So we’ll see you there?
- Dutchies, arrive by bike!
For the Dutch who don’t go anywhere without their beloved bike, we’ve got some good news. There will be a Bike Repair Shop at the bicycle parking lot. So while you’re having the time of your life at the party, the first 120 Dutchies can get their bike fixed for free. Yes Dutchies, for free!

Hola Mejicanos! Hungry for a nostalgic taco or a spicy burrito? Your wishes have been heard by Otto streetfood. Their dishes will take you straight back to la casa de mamá!
- We do have good coffee, Italiano’s
Italian coffee lovers, unite yourself at the Tati coffee stand. Ristretto’s and espresso macchiato’s for the diehards or a cuberdon latte for those who want to give a Belgian specialty a chance. Maybe Tati will allow you to heal your broken heart caused by the lack of quality coffee in Belgium.
- We’re bringing Berliner technoclubs to StuDay
Gutentag Germans! Are you already missing your cool techno clubs from Berlin? At StuDay you get the chance to feel like you’re in your favourite underground club thanks to the House & Techno stage, hosted by Club Vaag. If you need proof that Belgian beer really is better than German beer, we advise you to try an Antwerp Seefbier. A beer with its origins in the 16th century and a six times world champion. Can you beat that?

Bored of the bland Belgian food? Moroccan students can smell and taste home through the couscous and tagine dishes from O’Tagine. The perfect pause to regain some energy before going back to the dance floor.
- Get pampered beautiful British boys and girls
British beauty queens prepare yourselves to get pampered. The old train carriages at the Spoor Oost site will be transformed into luxury spa’s where students from beauty schools will try their best to cover up your hangover from the day before and make you look dashing for the rest of the day. Prefer to get something done about your bad hair day? Let professionals give you a whole new hairdo.
